Enhanced Formula Editor Extension

This Google Chrome extension dynamically injects the Edit Area code editor into salesforce pages where formulas are edited.  Install the extension and when you visit a formula edit page it will automatically enhance the textarea.

2015 Update!

This extension has started to receive updates and is listed in the chrome store again.  Have an issue or a great idea for this extension? Visit the github project URL below and create an Issue or contribute to it.

  1. This is a HUMONGEOUS time saver. Thanks for building out this extension. Considering my quantity of formulas its going to be used often.

  2. Thanks, I really love this extension and use it often. I would just love a setting to default it to Off. Often I will use the Insert Field button first, to insert all the fields I want, then turn it on to check my syntax. It is a bit annoying to remember to uncheck the toggle to do the insert, then check the toggle again. But if the toggle was unchecked first, then I could just turn the syntax highlighting on when I need it.

    Fantastic extension, loving the functionality. Is it a JS Hack though, and do you know if it will be supported in the next release?
